Blueberry and Rhubarb Jam

Total Time: Under an hour

8 cups blueberries
4 cups rhubarb (fresh or frozen)
1 cup water
4 cups sugar
Thaw fruit, if frozen. Do not drain. Combine fruits in large saucepan or pot. Add water, bring to a full boil and simmer for 10 - 12 minutes. Add sugar, stirring to dissolve. Bring to simmer, stirring frequently. Boil to jam stage (about 20 - 25 minutes). Remove from heat; stir and skim foam. Let sit 10 minutes. Pour into hot jars; seal. Makes 12 cups.
