Homemade Pancakes

2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
4 tbsp sugar
2 tsp melted butter
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate chips or raisins
1/2 cup can milk
1/2 cup hot water
Veg oil
In a medium-size bowl add the following: flour, baking powder, sugar, butter, vanilla, chocolate chips, milk and water. Stir all together, then heat a skillet with the oil and spoon in the pancakes. Fry until golden-brown, then serve with pancake syrup. Be careful not to burn.
