Beef Stew in the Slow Cooker

2 lbs stewing beef
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 carton beef broth
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 bay leaf
1 tsp paprika
4 carrots, cut into slices
3 potatoes, cubed
1 onion, diced
1 celery stalk, chopped
Coat meat with flour in bowl. Add to slow cooker, followed by carrots, potatoes, onion, celery, garlic and bay leaf. Sprinkle salt, pepper and paprika over. Combine broth and Worcestershire and pour into slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 4 to 6 hours or 8 to 10 on low. Remove bay leaf before eating.
