Baked Squid

2 cups of bread crumbs
1/2 cup of butter
Savoury
1 onion
6 squid
Mix the bread crumbs, the savoury and the onion, then add the butter. Mix together. Put the above suffing in the squid until full, then sew up the open end. Do this for all six, then put 2 or 3 pieces of salt pork on top, wrap in foil wrap and bake in the oven on 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 or until cooked.


Comments:
I make Baked Squid 3-4 times a year. Essentially this is the recipe I use but I spruce it up with lots of freshly ground black pepper, soy sauce & white wine. You don't need to fuss & sew the squid up even if the stuffing comes out during baking as this can be served over the top & soaks up more sauce.1 1/2 hrs is too long....45 mins @ 350* tops. Love 'em hot...love 'em cold sliced!
