Blueberry Cake

1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cups blueberries
2 cups flour
1 egg, separated
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
Cream sugar, margarine and egg yolk. Beat well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Add alternately with milk to creamed mixture.Beat egg white until stiff. Fold into cake batter with vanilla. Add blueberries. Bake in greased 8" pan at 375°F for 45 to 50 minutes.
