Chocolate Cake

3 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup shortening
2 cups white sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup milk
1 cup boiling water
Frosting:
2 pkg chocolate mousse
1 cup cold tin milk
2 tbsp vanilla instant pudding
Sift first five ingredients. Beat shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients with milk, stir in hot water. Bake in greased tube pan 325°F 1 hour. Cool in pan 10 minutes, remove from pan. Beat frosting ingredients together slowly until mixed, then beat fast. Add 2 tablespoons vanilla instant pudding. Beat. Spread on cool cake. You can decorate with white marachino cherries, whole walnuts, slivered white and dark chocolate.
