Bacon-Wrapped Tenderloin Steak

2 tenderloin steaks
2 strips double-smoked bacon
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic paste
Mix together oil, salt, pepper and garlic paste. Brush mixture on both sides of each steak. Wrap a piece of bacon around the edge of each steak and secure with toothpicks that have been soaked in water for 10 minutes (this helps keep the wood from catching on fire). Grill each steak to desired doneness. If necessary/desired, turn each steak up on its side and roll it across the grill to crisp up the bacon a little. Makes 2 servings.
