BBQ Breakfast

2 cups rolled oats
3 cups milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 cup raisins
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
Mix everything, except the butter, together in a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and allow to cook for about 5-7 minutes. Line an 8 inch square cake pan with parchment paper and spray it with cooking spray. Cool the oatmeal for about 5 minutes, then pour into the prepared pan. Place pan in the fridge for at least an hour, or until oatmeal is set. Preheat BBQ on high. Once it's nice and hot, reduce the temperature to medium-high. Remove the slab of oatmeal from the pan, peel off the paper and cut it into desired shapes. Brush each side with melted butter and place on the grill. Sear each side and allow it to heat through. Serve hot with maple syrup. Yield: 4-6 servings.
