Morning Cookies

1 cup raisins
1 cup water
1 cup applesauce
1 cup dates
2 large ripe bananas
3 cup rolled oats
1 1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup oil
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup raisin liquid
1/2 cup walnuts or pecans
1/2 cup bran (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°F. Simmer raisins in water until plump. Drain raisin liquid into cup and add water to make 1/2 cup liquid. In blender, combine applesauce, dates and bananas. Pour into mixing bowl. Combine oats, flour, coconut (if using), salt and cinnamon, and add to bowl. Add remaining ingredients and combine. Drop dough in heaping spoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake 20 min.
