Blueberry Meringue Cookies

3 tbsp butter
1/3 cup white sugar
2 egg yolks
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1/8 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup milk
Topping
2 egg whites
6 tbsp sugar
1 cup fresh blueberries
Separate two eggs. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and vanilla; combine well. Add flour, baking powder, salt and milk; mix. Pour batter into greased 8" pan and bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
Topping: Beat egg whites and sugar into a meringue with stiff peaks. Fold in blueberries. Spread over baked cake. Bake at 300°F until meringue is light brown. Let cool. Cut into small squares to serve.
