Mulled Red Wine

Total Time: Under an hour

1 bottle dry red wine
1 orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced
1 green apple, sliced
2 cinnamon sticks (3” each)
3 whole star anise
4 cardamom pods
3 tbsp white sugar
2 tbsp brown sugar
Mix everything in a slow cooker and set to “low” for 2-3 hours. Serve in mugs with additional fruit, if desired.
Yield: 4-6 servings
