Salmon River Chicken

1 cut up chicken (9 pieces)
1 pkg. bread crumbs
1 small pkg. savory
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
flour
1 onion
salt
Boil chicken parts with salt for 1/2 hour. Remove chicken. In one bowl, combine slightly beaten eggs and milk. In another bowl, combine bread crumbs and savory. Preheat deep fryer to 325 degrees. Roll chicken pieces in flour, then dip in egg and milk mixture. Roll in bread crumbs and savory mixture. Deepfry until golden brown. Serves 4.
