Maine Blueberry Pudding

Total Time: 30 Minutes or Less

3 cups blueberries
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
6 slices white bread
Ground cinnamon
Cook blueberries, sugar and water in a heavy pot for 10 minutes. Butter bread slices and sprinkle with cinnamon. Place bread and berry mixture in a 9x5-inch loaf pan in layers. Cover and allow to set for several hours and serve, or refrigerate. Serve at room temperature, garnished with dollops of cream.
