Sweet and Sour Shrimp

2 tbsp water
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp ketchup
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp paprika
1 large green pepper, diced
¾ lb shrimp
2 tsp oil
Stir water into cornstarch in small bowl. Then add next 6 ingredients. Stir and set aside. Heat 1 tsp oil in wok. Stir-fry green pepper in wok about 1 min., then transfer to separate bowl. Drop another tsp oil in wok. Add shrimp and stir-fry until pinkish and curled; mix in green pepper. Add cornstarch mixture to shrimp and green pepper; heat until boiling and thickened. Serve over rice.
