Partridgeberry or Cranberry -Orange Sauce

1 lb partridgeberries or cranberries
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
Zest from 1/2 orange
Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer 5 - 10 minutes, until berries are broken up. This will thicken as it cools. It is excellent with poultry, and can be used in recipes that ask for cranberry sauce.
